How does Harbr Four work?
Harbr Four connects seafarers with crewing companies directly via Telegram. Fill in your profile once — and matching vacancies come to you automatically.
How to create a profile?
Use /start and select "Seafarer" in the bot. Fill in your rank, vessel types, minimum salary and availability. The more complete your profile, the better matches you'll receive.
How does vacancy matching work?
When a crewing company posts a vacancy, the bot finds seafarers matching all three criteria:
- At least one vessel type matches
- At least one rank matches
- Salary offered is at or above your minimum
What about salary matching?
If you set a daily rate and the vacancy shows a monthly salary (or vice versa), the bot automatically converts for comparison (daily × 30 = monthly). Currency isn't compared — only the rate and amount.
How to apply?
Tap “Apply via Bot” on any vacancy. Your profile is instantly sent to the recruiter. Free accounts get 3 applications per day.
How will the crewing company contact me?
If you have a Telegram username, they can message you directly. If not, they'll reach you via the bot. We strongly recommend setting a username in your Telegram settings.
What does VIP give me?
VIP is free during our beta — it includes unlimited applications, priority delivery, and auto-apply: the bot searches and applies to matching vacancies for you while you're busy. Final pricing will be announced after beta.

How to post a vacancy?
Use /newvacancy to fill it in step by step, or /aivacancy for an AI quick post — just paste your vacancy text and AI extracts all the fields automatically.
How does verification work?
After registration, our admin reviews your company details (website, corporate email). Verified companies publish vacancies instantly, without moderation.
How does applicant matching work?
When you post a vacancy, the bot instantly notifies every seafarer matching all three criteria:
- At least one vessel type matches
- At least one rank matches
- Your offered salary is at or above the seafarer's minimum
What about salary matching?
If you post a daily rate and a seafarer set a monthly minimum (or vice versa), the bot automatically converts for comparison (daily × 30 = monthly). Currency isn't compared — only the rate and amount.
How to manage applications?
Use /my_vacancies or open the web panel for a full table view with filters. You can reject unsuitable candidates — they won't appear in your list again.
How to contact a seafarer?
If they have a Telegram username, you get a direct chat link. If not, use “Message via Bot” with ready-made templates in EN/UA/RU.
What's the web panel?
A full browser interface at harbr4.com — view vacancies, filter applicants, compare candidates. Open it via the browser button in /my_vacancies.
Can my team use the same account?
Yes — the company owner gets an invite code in /profile to share with colleagues. Team members post vacancies on behalf of the same company, and the owner manages the whole team.
What does Pro/VIP give a crewing company?
Both are free to test during our beta. Pro unlocks more active vacancies, AI quick-post and priority in the feed. VIP adds unlimited vacancies, auto-repost every 24h and direct search in the seafarer database. Final pricing will be announced after beta.
